children's programs
The Altwiener Ostermarkt offers children's programs on the stage on the market square. This year, too, our puppeteers will once again perform exciting adventures with Kasperl & Kasperlinchen on several days. Afterwards, children can paint eggs or make Palm Sunday bundles (Palmbuschen), and you can also order a Kasperl snack for your group of children.
Our puppeteers Puppet Inge, the Hilfswerk-Kasperlbühne and, new at the Easter market this year, Puppenbühne Träumeland, look forward to your visit!

A treat for our youngest visitors
The performances take place between March 23 and April 2 at 10:00. The stage is on the market square next to the Easter tree.

The shows take place outdoors and may be canceled in very bad weather.
Length of the show: approx. 30 minutes
No registration is needed for the Kasperl theater – there is plenty of room in front of the stage!

Kasperl snack

After our Kasperl puppet shows, we offer two options for a Kasperl snack at the food stalls on the market square in front of the stage:
1.) Kasperl snack with Ms. Erna
Stall no. 24 next to the Easter tree
1 cup of grape juice and a Viennese sausage (Einspänner) with a bread roll (turkey sausage also available on request)

Easter craft workshop
Paint colorful eggs and make Palm Sunday bundles.
Daily from 10:30 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 16:00
Our craft tables are in front of the stage on the market square.

Our Kasperl shows are free for all visitors.
For painting colorful Easter eggs or making small Palm Sunday bundles, we ask for a voluntary donation in support of our charity fundraiser for the ÖRSG - Österreichische Rett-Syndrom-Gesellschaft.
